Now you can taste events moving by drag&drop in the sandbox.

I've just released DayPilot Sandbox: Live demo of the latest development version of DayPilot Pro.

You can test the latest features in the Sandbox. It's not much polished and sometimes it may break. But just for the case you are interested in what's coming soon....

The version I've uploaded today contains:

• Resizing callback demo (drag the top or bottom of an event to resize it)
  
• Demo of multiple calendars on a page (fix for DayPilot Pro 3.1)
  

Resizing works on all pages but it's not handled on the server-side (it's handled only here - Resizing callback demo). That's why you can resize the events but they jump back immediately.

In addition to the specification for DayPilot Pro 3.5 (planned for April 1, 2007), I've published a first rough draft of DayPilot Pro 4.0 specification (planned for May 1, 2007).

DayPilot Pro 3.5 will include a new AJAX functionality:

• Event moving by drag&drop
• Event resizing by drag&drop
• All day events
• Inline editing
  

DayPilot Pro 4.0 planned features include:

• Month view
• Bubbles as an alternative to context menu

On March 1, 2007 a new version of DayPilot Pro was released:

New features:

1. Time range selecting. DayPilot Pro supports selecting a time range by mouse dragging. This is useful for creating new events in the calendar.
2. Context menu. Context menu is accessible on right mouse click on an event. Useful for event actions like "Delete", "Edit", "Send", etc.
3. Custom cell rendering. Allows to define custom business hours (including a break, overnight business hours) and specify background color for each calendar cell separately.
4. Custom events rendering. Allows to draw custom event content (custom event description, text formatting, events with images...).
